Does The Swivel Sweeper G2 Work?
The second version of the Swivel Sweeper Cordless Floor Cleaner has finally been released!For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Swivel Sweeper, it is a cordless floor sweeper that has been designed with a rotating brush that picks up almost anything it runs over. This product was always very popular because of its coordless ability, its compact design, flexibility, easy of use and of course great cleaning power.
The Swivel Sweeper G2 is the never version of this product and it includes some awesome new features. Along with the G2 version we have a new back saver elbow joint and a touch-less dirt tray. So now it is much easier to reach those hard to get places without having to bend over and strain your back, as well as now you can clean out the Swivel Sweeper tray with a simply touch.

Turning to the actual review of the Swivel Sweeper, here is what we have to say…First, it was amazing to see how easily the Swivel Sweeper can be put together. Don’t worry about those endless instruction manuals, the Swivel Sweeper can be put together so easily that it may be possible even with your eyes closed. Once we had it built, we plugged it in and let it sit there charging over night to prepare it for our strenuous testing the next day.
The next day we put the swivel sweeper to the test…
- The Swivel Sweeper was incredible at cleaning up both carpeted and tiled floors. Everything we threw at it it just picked it up easily and quickly.
- The addition of the elbow joint was awesome! It was so easy to clean under tables, chairs and couches. Which is great, since most of us are too lazy to get down on our knees to clean these areas.
- Once done, the touch-less dirt tray worked as advertised and we were able to clean it out quickly and easily
Overall the Swivel Sweeper G2 definitely lived up to all the hype. It was powerful, easy to build, use and clean. Obviously you are not going to replace your full blown vacuum cleaner with the Swivel Sweeper G2, but for a mere fraction of the price this product really does perform amazingly and it is a perfect gift for college students, for home use in areas where a cordless device is needed or preferred or for a budget cleaner that can be used instead of your expensive vacuum cleaner for certain messes.
