Does The Steam Buddy Work?
The Steam Buddy is an As Seen On TV product that was made to replace the iron by providing you with a handheld steamer that will remove wrinkles out of various different fabrics.Having to wake up earlier each morning work to iron my clothing before work, I was quiet intrigued when I first saw the ad for the Steam Buddy which promised to iron my clothing much quicker and easier. I normally do not buy TV products, but the Steam Buddy seemed like it could be very handy.
What's In The Box?
The Steam Buddy comes with 5 different things. A little instruction manual, a water cup for measuring, a fabric brush, cleaner brush and a creaser attachment.

So testing out the Steam Buddy I found that while it is much easier and quicker than ironing it definitely does not provide the same results. The Steam Buddy does an excellent job at giving you an ok ironing experience, if you are just looking for a quick touch up or to straighten out a shirt that is not very wrinkled, the Steam Buddy is perfect. But if you need to iron a shirt that has been rolled up into a ball and stuff in your closet for months, it is going to be hard to take out all those deep creases with the Steam Buddy.
Ultimately, the Steam Buddy is not going to replace your iron, but it is a good product to have for quick fixes, for work trips, or if you are a college student. The fact that it is portable is a definite plus, even if it does not do as great a job as an iron, you can take it with you anywhere in case you want to touch up your clothing a bit.
