The Split Ender is a unique patented hair plate that has been specially designed to guide the "hair strands" to uniformly flow in and out the strand guards and safely into the blades, guiding each hair into a straight motion which in turn forces them to stand straight up.

When reaching the center of the Split Ender hair plate the blades snip the tips by 1/8 inch to 1/4inch, trimming the ends where dry, burned, damaged ends and split ends are more likely to be found.
