General Description:

Traditional (7½ inch) and the new Plush-style (8½ inch) sleep surfaces available.
Both sleep surfaces feature durable Belgian Damask fabric.
The Sleep Number Firmness Control™ System comes standard with the Plush-style sleep surface and is available as an upgrade for the Traditional style.

The Cover:

1. Cover - Zippered top. Easy to open & remove.
2. Traditional-style - Offering a total mattress thickness of 7½".
3. Plush-style - A nice step up in cushioning and comfort with a total mattress thickness of 8½".
4. Fabric - Both Traditional-style and Plush-style sleep surfaces are 44% polypropylene and 56% polyester Belgian Damask.
5. Logic™ Label System - Takes the guesswork out of where to start making your bed.

The Interior:

1. Air Chamber - The heart of all Sleep Number beds. Made of 24-gauge rubber, heat bonded at seams for strength & laminated with non-stretch cotton. Internal I-Beam reinforcements.
2. Foam Border Walls - Solid, high-density foam blocks provide sitting support & sleeping comfort.
3. Corner Lock™ System - Creates a stable interlocking perimeter and provides crisp clean corners. Rigid corners help sheets to fit securely in place.

Foam & Fill:

1. Fiberfill - Plush-style contains 1½ oz. per sq. ft. of resilient polyester fiberfill for the ultimate in sleep surface comfort. Traditional-style offers 1 oz. per sq. ft. of fiberfill.
2. Quilting Foam - ¾" Antimicrobial foam quilted into Plush-style cover. Traditional-style offers ½" antimicrobial foam cushion.
3. Center Foam - Provides comfort and support where the two air chambers meet in dual-chamber mattresses.
4. Border Foam Walls - Adds stability and sitting support.

Firmness Control:

1. Sleep Number Firmness Control™ System - 110V, 60-watt pump fills and adjusts mattress firmness. Uses power only when making adjustments. UL® approved.
2. Single Wired Digital Remote - Backlit Sleep Number display for quick adjustments. Comes standard with Plush-style mattress.
3. Non-Digital Firmer/Softer Remote - Wired firmer/softer controls to adjust mattress firmness. Comes standard with Traditional-style mattress.

The Foundation:

1. Foundation Coverlet - Matches mattress to create a perfect set look. Protects the foundation.
2. Foundation - exclusively designed to maximize comfort & support of the Sleep Number bed. Its interlocking, component design allows for easy transport. Fits into most bedroom furniture & frames. Measures 8 inches high. Lightweight & durable.
3. Foundation Legs - Optional. Attractive alternative to a traditional bed frame.
