Avoid! I have 4 medium size dogs, none of whom have issues about getting their nails trimmed at their vet. Tried the pedipaws and all the animals are afraid of it, even my most gentle dog hates it. It will grind down the nails but slowly and there must be heat build-up or some kind of discomfort because she would keep pulling away. The 2nd time I tried using it none of the dogs would allow it to be used on them.

I wouldn't say that Pedipaws was incredibly fast. It takes a long time to file 4 nails. You wouldn't want to do it all in one sitting. I recommend using it a few times a week, that's if your dog doesn't go running when you turn Pedipaws on. The loud grinding noise actually scared my shih-tzu Mya.
Should you purchase this product? Honestly, I think it depends on your dog.
Overall, I'm not impressed with it.

i got that product from about 10 moth and a got a very tiny dog (yorshire)and it work magnificley on her litle nails,she had a little problems whit the product at the beginning,because she was not use to it,but now she is ok,we have to take the time to give the animal a little time to be confortable whit it,and after is ok,thank you.

I have a pug who has horribly sensitive feet. She hates having them touched at all, let alone held for people to clip her nails. But she doesn't mind Pedi Paws at all! It's a great product, and works very well.
