February 06, 2009 i bought a one touch can opener and it is now in the garbage! very disgusted with it. had a stroke and only have use of my left arm, thought this product would work great. boy was i wrong! not only can i not use it, my husband can't either. not only does it not open the can, you can't get the lid off the can or the can opener. a very unhappy customer! February 06, 2009 I had heard numerous times about the One touch can opener and finally I decided to buy one to prove what I was thinking that this product was a gimmick! A powered can opener? I didn't believe it. I bought one, took it home and placed it on a large and tough can housing crushed pumpkin. I pushed the big black button, while thinking this will be a definite failure, and suddenly this opener pulled away from my hand and started working its way around the can. There was a sudden click of the can and I picked the can top off. The cut was clean as a whistle. Wow, what an invention. I hate being wrong. This product amazed me.
