The MXZ saw does not come close to performing as advertised. It is unable to cut through a soft pine 2X4 or an aluminum soda can. The materials are of low quality, the safety latch hangs up, and the over all workmanship is quite poor.

The TV retailer actually makes most of their money by charging you almost as much for the shipping (appx $13.00 inside the U.S.) as they do on the saw.
Total actual cost of the saw was a bit over $33.00.
This real price is $33.00 but only if you can resist the high pressure salesperson who will try to get you to buy multiple saws and accessories.
The multi-wrench that comes with it is a joke. Any significant amount of torque will destroy it. The metal is soft, and the hinge connections are flimsy.
This saw is simply not worth anyone's money. It is too expensive at any price.

Ok, so I got this as a gift from my wife and tried it out on many things, On softer easier material its actually harder then normal means to cut with, but when you try it on something almost impossible to cut through its a miraculous event. I took it to work and after boasting about it to my boss, he took it from me and ran over to one of the buildings main support I-beams holding up the bldg. Oh my GOD. it cut through it, I'm still shocked over this. I wish I had another one.
