micro force shaver. Sounded too good to be true - and it certainly was NOT. Am 68 years old and once had an electric shaver that did a teriffic job - Sunbeam Shavemaster. Unfortutely, like many - if not most - really good products manufactured it somehow did not survive. All it did was provide a clean, close shave and when the battery/electrics arrived it outperformed the best of the many worst. The blade moved back and forth across the cutter - and I could get great shaves for weeks, even months at times, without recharging. The Micro Force is a "cute little toy" with the ridiculously popular "wiggle-worm" technology and a "super long lasting battery" that has provided a maximum of 3 shaves since my acquisition. Now it has deteriorated to the point of refusing to take a charge sufficient for even one. And, I seem to be unable to find, on the internet anyone interested in selling me a replacement battery. Guess I'll have to revert to my $5.00 Walmart Special battery operated "junk-heap" that utilizes the same "revolutionary" "wiggle-worm" technology - but for at least a month or two without replacing the two relatively inexpensive batteries.

Just Rec'd my Razor Kit today. Suffering from MS, any task is a Major Task so I put off shaving for a week at a time (accumulating a 1/4 in growth), its a light bread by standards. I've been using Sgl. Head Bic throw-aways. for ease of handling and cost saving. They did the job but left a stuble when you rubed against the grain (never a Babies bottom finish).
Well after reading the Negative reviews, I said here we go again, 29 Bucks out the window. It ground to a halt with the 1/4 in.growth so I used the Bic as usual, with the rough finish. So after a 7 hr. charge I used it this morning. WOW ! it worked and left a Baby Bottom finish (the first time in many years) if it keeps working, its the Best Buy I've made in Years.
