I have had these for several years now. Have had no problems. Someone wrote a review looking for batteries. We buy ours at The Dollar Tree or the the Dollar Store I can't remember which, they come 8 to a pack for a $1.

My daughter purchased this First Alert Alarm System and none of the batteries are any good! There are 3 batteries in each alarm unit. I don't have a receipt to return this and I really wanted to use this. So no I can't say this is a good product to use

I bought this product about 5yrs ago and still have the original alarm.I think I paid $10 at CVS, so I got my $ worth.The only thing I don't like is if the door/window isn't flat you can't use it on that surface.Besides that I love it.CVS also sells the replacement batteries.

This product is acceptable, however I cannot find replacement batteries. I called 800-777-4034, they didn't know what i was talking about and referred me to 973-227-8777. They were closed at 11:15 AM EST and an answering machine referred me back to 800-777-4034. If the batteries are available please inform where I can obtain them.

upon purchasing a 5 pack of first alert alarms ,all the batteries included were empty. also ,one by one they either fell off door and broke or the little switch(black mode button) came right off in my hand. i have 2 broken alarms left. the price for the 5 pack was not inexpensive 15 batteries at retail.
