Snuggie Blanket

Snuggie Review

The Snuggie is one of the most raved about tv products out there, so we at TVTopTen had to give it a try and see if it really is all that it claims to be. When we received the Snuggie, the first thing we thought was that it was sort of silly looking, however, once we tried it we realized that it was so unbelievably soft and comfortable.

When we compared it to a regular blanket, the Snuggie was much better at keeping you warm and it was much easier to be able to do things such as read a book or use a tv remote with the Snuggie as it did not hinder your arm movement.

This may be an okay item if you're 5-foot-nothing and weigh 87 pounds, but it's too short for tall people, too skimpy for fat people, and too lightweight to keep anybody warm if the thermostat is set lower than 70 degrees. I was not impressed.

I finally bought one because it was on sale at Walmart for $7.99. I have to say I was disappointed for a couple of reasons: (1) you can't even think about doing anything but lie straight back with it on; if you sit up it just slides down. (2) the sleeves are way too long, and I'm 5'9" and (3) the material is so thin that it doesn't keep you warm unless the room is already 70 degrees. I thought with all the hype, there would have been a little more quality to it - but for $8 I guess I should have known better. My dog seems to like it now, I put in his little bed:)

The snuggie is one of the most amazing blankets I have ever worn. Originally purchased for my girlfriend, I had to get a second one to use myself. great when i sit on my couch to watch tv or surf the web on my laptop.

I use blankets all the time for warmth. The snuggie would be great to be able to move around in. Would like to have one. They come in many colors and styles, this makes it worth its money.
