The Insanity Workout Nutrition guide has been broken down into month 1 and month 2. The program encourages that you consume 5 meals every day so you will be eating every 2.5-3 hours in order to keep your metabolism high and your meal sizes at a good size. The guide contains a section for each meal of the day and within each section there are 10 choices/ recipes to choose from. Overall, it contains around 50 recipes.

Month 1 of the diet consists of approximately 300 calories per meal but you can increase this to 400-500 depending on your caloric needs by adding in what they refer to as “food blocks”. You can also use these food blocks as snacks as well.

The Insanity Workouts are composed of DVD workouts that are around 40 minutes with some ranging all the way up to 80 minutes, such as the cardio and max recovery workout which is performed once a week.

As you go through the week you will be challenged in each workout with intense exercises that will work your entire body. Performing both aerobic and anaerobic exercises your body will be able to burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour and you will be able to get ripped in 60 days.

As everyone has said above, this workout is really intense. Make sure that you are prepared not only physically but also mentally before starting the program. Insanity is for those that REALLY want to transform their body. Stick to it , keep your motivation high and you will see great results

The first couple weeks of insanity are REALLY hard but if you can get through them and keep going until the end of month 2 you will be really happy with the results. Good Luck!

This workout is crazy! If you are going to take on the challenge get ready to hurt...a lot. The results are awesome though. You will see your muscles popping out in no time. I am on my first month still and really like it. I can't wait to show people my results after month 2.
