Black and Decker Storm Station Tool

The Black and Decker Storm Station Tool will keep you informed and prepared when the next emergency hits. This powerful station will give you electricity, light, and radio when you need it the most all in one handy place.

It is equipped with a weather radio, power inverter, a detachable flashlight and a "find me" light that turns on when the power goes off, so you can find it even in the dark. You can use the 25-watt inverter to power small essentials such as clocks or phones to keep in touch with time and keep your communication open. You can also charge your cell-phone with the 12-volt recharging port, listen to the radio or weather frequencies, or use the detachable flashlight to help you see in your dark home.

Especially if you live in an emergency prone area this a great tool to have around. But even if you do not, why risk not having all the things you need in an emergency? You can even keep it in the shed and use the radio year-round while it plugs in and charge. This way you will get more use out of it than just in case of emergencies. But if one were to take place you, your Storm Station will prove to be very useful.

I have had trouble getting this unit to charge since I bought it. I bought a new cord, but that doesn't seem to help either . I need to keep my cell phone charged when the power goes out because my house phone does not work when the modem has no power. Lousy. very expensive piece of JUNK!!

Great idea, poor execution. If not left plugged in at all
times, battery looses charge. Mine will no longer charge.
It is now just an expensive plug in radio with fair reception and I'm certainly not going to spring for the price of a new battery ($30.00 ) for a product that has not performed very well.
