AlertUSA is a personal emergency response system that through a signaling device will help you summon help whenever an emergency occurs. It is the perfect solution to the needs of many older people who want that extra security and independence.

If an emergency was ever to occur you simply need to press the button on the pendant or hand transmitter to alert the response center that you require help, and they will send the corresponding help to you. Thus, reducing the risk of debilitating injuries that often occur as a result of long periods without help following from a medical emergency.

Here's how it works...
The system consists of two different parts: a portable and water proof help button also referred to as the transmitter (which is worn or carried by the user) and a receiver unit that connects to the users telephone line.

If the user experiences an emergency they can simply press the button and it will activate the receiver which in turn dials the AlertUSA Emergency Response Center. Now you will be put into a 2-way, hands-free voice communication with a specialist who will be able to converse with you while at the same time having your medical history, precise location, preferred hospital and the contact information of your closet responders all at hand on their computer screen.

This specialist can then contact either your preferred responders or a local Emergency  Service (police, fire department, ambulance). While you wait for the help to arrive the specialist will remain in voice communication with you the whole time.
